Alison Mohn is a wonderful up-and-coming wedding and portrait photographer in the Philly area. When she asked if I wanted to shoot portraits for the about page on her new site, I was more than happy to help her out!
We were originally supposed to shoot on Tuesday evening, but had to reschedule due to the crazy summer thunderstorm that came through Southeastern PA. We ended up shooting yesterday instead, and unfortunately got caught in the rain again! Huddled under overhanging trees and a tiny umbrella, Ali and I were able to get some nice shots off before the downpour. Check out a few of my favorites below!
UPDATE: Ali and I decided to shoot again last week, since our shoot got cut short the first time. Guess what? It rained again! Luckily for us, my roommate is a fabulous makeup artist, and we have a beautiful, weathered teal garage in our back alley. Ali got a quick makeup application from Kelsey, and we headed outside to get a few shots in front of the garage. For the last image, we decided to have some fun with a heavier vsco filter, since Ali was planning on using it for her social media. I love how they turned out! Thanks again Kelsey for the beautiful makeup and on-the-spot photo assistance.
